Q: How much does it cost?
A: We aim to be competitive but are unable to give costs
on this web site as they vary depending upon numbers of people, combinations
of activity etc. Please contact us for
a quote...
Q: If we choose a selection of activities, will we have to travel
between different sites for them?
A: Monnow Events is an 'activity provider' as opposed
to an 'activity agent', which means that all of the activities we offer
can take place at our 350 acre site in Kentchurch, Herefordshire. This
will make your event a lot less stressful than using an Agent, when you
may find you do have to travel between different sites to carry out your
activities.
Q: What tie do your events start and how long do they last?
A: We usually start morning activities at 10.00am and
afternoon ones at 2.00pm. Each activity lasts approximately 1 hour (unless
otherwise specified). However, we are flexible, so please talk to us
if you need an earlier/later start or if you would like to spend longer
on an activity.
Q: We may be quite a large group and are concerned that some
of us may end up standing around, doing nothing. What do you recommend?
A: We are experienced at working with all group sizes.
We would split a large group into teams and rotate the teams through
their chosen activities. Team sizes can be from 8 - 12 people - if there
are two teams, they would need to rotate through two or four activities,
three teams would rotate through three activities etc. Larger numbers
can play Paintball, so both/all teams could play this session together.
Q: We will be travelling quite a long way and may need overnight
accommodation. Can you recommend anywhere?
A: We do have a bunkhouse on site, which we offer as
part of a 'Party Night Package' (more details on request); otherwise
we have a very good working relationship several local Hotels and a list
of Self Catering Cottages. We can even recommend an excellent Caterer!.
Q: Do we need to wear special clothes and shoes?
A: We recommend comfortable, warm clothing. We will
provide you with overalls, which will protect most of your clothing!
We do recommend strong shoes/boots, which give some ankle protection.
We do not recommend trainers.
Q: Is your office address the same as the site address?
A: NO - Our office is in St. Weonards and
our site is in Kentchurch - about a 15 minute drive
from the office - click for a map.
